Dog Walking

Homer’s Hounds is a local dog walking company. Currently we are only able to offer 1 hour group walks and our 1 hour solo walks which are usually at the end of the day.

Homer’s Hounds is based in Lymington but thanks to our fitted out, sign written van we are able to cover other areas in Hampshire and The New Forest so look out for our van near you!

We cover the areas of: Lymington, Brockenhurst, Portmore and Milford on Sea. Please contact us if you are outside of these areas and we will try to accommodate you.

About me

Charlotte Homer

Hello my name is Charlotte Homer and I live in the Lymington area.
Having grown up with dogs, I have come to love being around them and enjoyed taking my family dog Sparky, our black lab, on many walks and adventures over the years.

We welcomed our own Cocker Spaniel to the Homer’s Hounds team, Olive, in 2021 who loves to join her friends on adventures in the forest, especially diving into water and bogs!

I also enjoy looking after and caring for a range of animals and am confident in attending to their every need.
I will ensure your pet will always be well looked after with a personal and professional service, tailored to suit you and your pet’s needs and requirements.
I will ensure they are happy and safe at all times, so you can have the peace of mind that your pet is being well looked after.
There will always be plenty of fun and freedom with lots of attention to ensure the safety of your pet.

My pet services are tailored to your needs from feeding and house visits, to taking dogs on walks in the local area, to the New Forest and to local beaches.

Services

Our dog walking locations will vary to keep walks interesting for your dog with new sights and smells! From coastal walks to walking in The New Forest with it’s cooling rivers and never ending adventures.

We offer group and 1-2-1 dog walks on or off the lead, tailored to your dog’s needs.

Dog Walking

£14.50

Your dog will get an hour long walk (from the start of the walk location) with a maximum of 4 dogs in a variety of areas locally, on or off the lead. We will pick up and drop off your dog from your home or desired location. Dogs from the same family will be £23.50 per hour

Solo dog walking

From £18 an hour/ £15 for 30 minutes.

Solo dog walks are tailored to yours and your dogs need. These walks are one to one, perfect for dogs who are slightly nervous of other dogs and feel more comfortable being the only dog in the van/on a walk and elderly dogs who like the slower pace of life! These walks are only available after 4.30pm

Puppy care

£18 per hour/ £13 for 30 minutes

Puppy care will involve a simple home visit where we will take them for a short walk. If your puppy is too young to be taken out of the house we can have fun in the garden or house instead. If required we can also feed them during our visit. (Currently this service is only available at weekends or evenings due to our walking schedule during the week days.)

Cat and pet visits

£9

These visits will be 30 minutes long, during this time we will clean and refill their food and water bowls. We will also clean out litter trays etc, along with providing play and attention.
